OUR SERVICES
OPTIMAL BABY POSITIONING

Why should I do baby positioning from early on in pregnancy? There are ways a mother can assist her baby to assume the best position if he/she is to have the simplest, safest birth.

When your baby is to get himself/herself into the best position, your baby needs you to spend most of your time with your abdomen ( tummy ) forward, and your knees lower than your seat. Then your baby will, during the last few weeks of pregnancy, be most comfortable lying with his/her back to your front. Most Mothers aren’t keen on this, as they end up with a bulgy abdomen, a saggy back, and a “duck waddle” walk!!

Now there are ways to create space and balance in the comfort of your own home at any given time.

Jean Sutton made a point the babies come down easier in the birth canal coming from the left. This due a natural shape called right obliquity) of the uterus to be rounder on the left and steeper on the right. The effect is that babies from the left are more likely to be curled to aim the crown of the head into the pelvis. The baby from the right may rotate to the posterior in labor due to the steep side extending the back and pointing the top of baby’s head into the pelvis.By doing exercises and balancing your body you will create more space for your baby to position in.

BODY BALANCING

Posture in pregnancy is one of the most important things next to nutritious foods and plenty of water for a healthy pregnancy. We help you through simple exercises to maintain good posture. Good posture aids in relieving back, neck and hip pain but also assists with fatique and baby positioning.
